Xbox Announces Final Six Games Leaving Game Pass In Late December 2024

It’s almost always the case that Microsoft reveals the games leaving Xbox Game Pass two weeks in advance, but as a special December treat we’ve been given more advance notice than usual – the entire month has been mapped out!

Earlier this week, we highlighted the seven games that will leave Xbox Game Pass in early December 2024, which includes the likes of Forza Horizon 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider and The Quarry. Here’s a closer look:

But what about late December? Well, there are six games leaving Xbox Game Pass on December 31st, with arguably the most notable being Party Animals and Lego 2K Drive. Let’s take a look at the full December 31st table:

As usual, you can get a discount of at least 20% on these Xbox Game Pass titles until they leave in a few weeks’ time, and some of them may be reduced even further – Party Animals, for example, has a 50% discount on the Xbox Store.

In terms of what’s coming to Xbox Game Pass in December 2024, we appear to have the full selection of those titles too, with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled being the biggest highlights.

I have done all I can with these games that I want to … enjoyed McPixal 3 but never even tried Humankind…

Humankind has a couple great ideas but it didn’t live up to the civ 6 gameplay. Decent game but firmly behind civ.

Oddly enough, it is clear that civ 7 is directly taking certain elements of humankind as inspiration.

Thankfully I got the Awesome Edition of LEGO 2K Drive during the last sale, so aside from finishing McPixel 3, I am all set.

I wish they’d always announce a month ahead of time.

My space is clogged with Indy! Need to try out humankind at least.

Mcpixel is sad to lose. I was using it for when I need an achievement. I’m not done with it yet! Aw well.

Pity I didn’t find the time to try Humankind, but oh well. There’s too many games to try. Will go to the list and we’ll see in the future.
